Eligibility

Who May Qualify?

Eligibility is determined by the My Safe Florida Home Program.

Current requirements may include:

  • The property must be an eligible Florida home.
  • The home must receive an Initial Inspection through the My Safe Florida Home Program.
  • The insured value generally must be $700,000 or less, subject to program exceptions.
  • The original building permit must generally have been issued before January 1, 2008.
  • The homeowner must use a properly licensed contractor for the approved mitigation work.
  • A Final Inspection through the program is required after the project is completed.
